Apparently I am biased to the second option. This is by personal experience that their regular support is already efficient enough to settle all my problems. It is not necessary to go to the CEO. One thing I love their support so much is that they do not wait for tickets and emails, they actually search for the problems through the internet. It is not difficult to see the participation of Hostgator representative whenever complaints appear in blogs or discussion threads.
