There are many reasons for a hosting company to be unreachable from a browser and it does not necessarily mean they are down.

A trace route would of been a useful thing to do if you could not reach the site, it would tell you in there is an interruption at the destination or on route, Ive also seem local routers and highspeed connections blip out causing a page to be unreachable.

They seem reliable..:

Islandnet.com is also reliable, the only issue we have on our uptime was relocating our offices from Downtown Victoria to Langford and I was very impressed at how quickly we did.

Thanks,
Rob Turner

Hi,
If your site is in shared hosting, you have to face these types of problems. I think you should do with dedicate server hosting.
